New 2 Yr PDRA Posts available! April 2011
Applications are invited for two two-year Postdoctoral Research Assistants to work under the supervision Dr Jason Davis and/or Prof. Stephen Faulkner / Professor Paul Beeron a research project funded by The Wellcome Trust. The posts are for a period 1 year in the first instance, with the possibility of extension for a further year. The project involves the generation of multimodal magnetic resonance contrast agents based on nanoparticles and ion pairing. Successful candidates will have a background in nanoparticle chemistry, medical imaging, luminescence and/or supramolecular chemistry. April 2011: Two new studentships available for a project based on multimodal nanoparticles as medical contrast agents. The work involves, MRI, nanoparticle chemistry, cellular imaging, supramolecular chemistry, surface chemistry and ion pairing.
